Mass producing a fan product in physical format is difficult enough (remember the problem with scalpers of "rare" items?), but making it look like an official product, based on official files... that's even more challenging without risking unwanted scrutiny from Hasbro's legal team.
Would translating it into German, Italian, French and Spanish "protect" it from such things? I think people who are demanding a special fancy box delivered to their door should think about these complicating factors. Translate, yes, print yourself? Yes. But asking luca (or Ye Olde Inn members) to mass produce and distribute it, I don't think have really thought this through, especially now... we don't know how the new leadership of HeroQuest via Avalon Hill will regard such things with their fan outreach.
Players need to learn to how to create their own stuff. You can print your own boxes, cards, boards, files, even models, fairly cheaply for yourself. This is a better path than relying on one person (or a group of people) who will be tempted to raise the prices so they can distribute around the world (and again, risk being C&Ded, and "their work" being turned into FOMO fodder). Granted, these days anything free risks being snapped up by unscrupulous people and sold online, but hopefully if enough people realize it's freely available will help curb that abuse.
