Now i only need a quest to og with the map.
Something like: "Two youngsters are missing, last seen entering the sewers."
The story starts with Sjengs quest .

viewtopic.php?f=37&t=855

and continues all to the Skaven lair and back.
Anny suggestions ?

Great design! I'd make the brown tiles a bit smoother though. the black shadows contrast a bit too much, making them look like solid rock insted of tiles. It's a bit hard to see what's a room and what's solid wall...

Thanks, Sjeng. I agree the map design got a bit rough. I was tying to get the "way under ground" look.

It’s great, so I suggest you to put a puzzle for this map. The heroes have to find some clues to where the kids are imprisoned.

For example, the first skaven will tell you that “the kids are imprisoned in a trap door, somewhere inside this dungeon”. To find the trap door on the floor you have to do a special search, but each time you do that “special search for the trap door” in the wrong room, put 6 skaven as wandering monsters. You should tell this from the start, so your heroes won’t search every room without being sure that this is the right room.

Next, you will find a note about “four guards are guarding the room”. Somewhere else put some footsteps on a corridor. Finally give them that “one of the guards is a wizard”, then put 3 rooms with 3 skavens +1 wizard.

But this will work only if your players like puzzles. If they want a classic quest, put one or two special rooms, a rat orge and it will be fine.

Yeah, why not. He could also put an NPC if they like dialogs. To ask for money or if they could calm him down he could give them one more clue. Thanks god to ad&d. The resources are unlimited.

Thanks people. Puzzle, hidden key, dialog, no were getting somewhere.
My idea for entrance to the skaven lair is that they have fallen down into it, while hiding for the skavens.
Maybe a rope is needed for the heroes.

Tallyho, I have started working on the Heroscribe map for you. It'll take a little longer to get this one done though. The bottom and right walls are done, but those were easy. I'm working on the gear shape now. It won't be perfect, but I'll get it as close as I can.

Maybe this will work. 1 Level, on their way to the skaven lair. Standard rules, no traps.
Some treasure chest with gold coins and healing.
Next Level, skaven lair, will be more advanced.
To weak ?
What do you people think ?
