Could you describe your process? Do you use regular rubbing alochol, or something else? Is it safe for plastic? I don't plan to repaint my miniatures, so it's important that it not affect the plastic like some solvents will.

Just normal denatured alcohol, the kind you use for firestarting, cleaning etc.
You can buy it everywhere and it's really cheap.
It's also perfect for removing grease/fats/oil, and I never start painting a figure without washing it in alcohol before.
As for paint removing, I didn't do this very often. May very well be this won't work for some kinds of paint.
Just laid the figure in it overnight (but perhaps a shorter period would have been enough) and then cleaned with a toothbrush.
And no, it doesn't affect the plastic.

My bottle of Dettol finally arrived from the UK, but I think I'll stick with the Simple Green I tried while I was waiting.

I bought my own copy of HQ today and Keller's Keep. I can't believe how expensive the expansions are. I'll keep my eyes peeled for a good deal.

BAM! Just got my hands on The Dark Company. Just the quest folder though. But as I already have lots of soldiers, which to my knowledge is the only two things unique to this set, I consider it a "V" on my list.

Now I only need the elf/barb quests...

But I'll keep dreaming and printing, considering the serious buck I'd have to pay for EQ & BQ...

It was indeed ebay. Usually semi-rare stuff like this go crazy high, but for some reason I managed to bag it for just £ 8,50. I didn't even snipe it at the last second or anything.
