about the paint: buy some dettol, pour some in a plastic cup with a lid, throw in your painted minis (if they are painted badly), let them soak for a night, use a toothbrush to clean the paint right off. repeat if necessary.

I've looked into that, but they don't sell Dettol in the US. I've read that Simple Green is a good alternative.

I plan to remove the paint from the Barbarian and Elf Quest Pack minis, but I'm not sure if I want to spend the time and energy for the rest. I may just sell the Game System and quest packs with the painted minis in their current state. That will leave me with two Game Systems and complete copies of all four US expansions.

by the way the Dettol ships much faster than Amazon indicates. I contacted the seller because the estimated delivery date was January 10th. Who would have thought I'd be buying soap from England to clean my plastic Yeti's?

I managed to find a good price on eBay for the four miniatures missing from my recent purchase. There is an eBay seller named "bubbleman2010" asking $3.00 per figure and they might not show up on a search becasue they are calling them things like "sword man" and "axe man" rather than their actual names. I just though I'd share this in case anyone is looking for replacement parts for the Game System.

Good to know. I'll be doing the same to my horrifically painted heros. We use other pieces anyway, now.

One think I learned is to be patient. It takes at least a day for the paint to soften sufficently and you'll probably have to leave some in longer to really get them clean.
