Kurgan wrote:Although we can see the quest maps clearly for only 4 (of 16) quests, the Entrance/Exit doors mechanic is used despite no extra door furniture being included with the pack (as with other expansions you are expected to merely have the Game System). Using this expansion with the game system means you would use regular closed doors for this, but we aren't yet able to see if they gave a reasonably accurate count (see issues with ROTDM running out of closed doors at times).
I have checked all quest maps from JoD and will be no lack of doors just using the Game System, so Ok. However it is true that Zargon could potentially run out of Closed Door models if just owning the GS box in six of the quests, but it is so improbable in all those cases, so I think we can live with it. Nevertheless I have identified them in the first posts of this thread.
Kurgan wrote:No mention here (as in SQT, PoT) that other Alchemist Shops can be visited.
I don't see any errata there because there are many other questbooks which don't say it either.
Kurgan wrote:The exact mechanics of the "Potions of Healing" are not clarified in the quest notes. However there included Alchemist Shop clearly designates the Potion of Healing as a 1d6, so it's most likely this was the intention every time it is not explained.
Agree, then I do not consider it an errata.
Kurgan wrote:I see that JoD Quests 12, 14 & 16 do not list any "wandering monster" for the quest.
However at least in Quest 14, the entire quest is rendered as a single room (thus a monster is visible and when monster(s) are defeated, the quest ends). So it was probably intended to be the same way in Quest 12, hence no real treasure searching will be possible anyway.
Quest 16 it makes sense because monsters are able to continually spawn on Zargon's turn until the designated creature is defeated (and the ending plays), so again no searching will be possible.
So I think only Quest 12 might be a possible errata here.
I think the non declared WM for Quests 12, 14 and 16 are not errata in anyone of them for the reason you said. About Q12, in my opinion all the tiles are part of the same area too, including the waterfall 4x4 tile (notice there are not any door connecting it with the rest of the map, probably intentional to make all a sole area like in Q14 and Q16).
I have also added to the errata list the following still-not-solved old topics about the special skills of Rogue Hero:
- Opportunistic Striker: It is unclear if the Rogue can add the extra attack die when performing a ranged attack to the monster. - HispaZargon suggests that probably the answer is Yes because the card does not limit its use with ranged attacks, and according to the card artwork where it is represented a Rogue throwing some Daggers, so it seems that the extra die could be gained also when performing a ranged attack. However, an official clarification from Hasbro about this would be appreciated.
- Opportunistic Striker: It is unclear if the Rogue requires a Bandolier or one extra Dagger to use this Skill because he/she gains 1 extra attack die without performing any additional attack like in card "Ambidextrous", but the card art shows a Rogue wearing a Badolier AND throwing 2 Daggers. - HispaZargon suggests that the answer may be NO since the Rogue could be just getting the 1 extra die due to he/she is attacking a monster distracted by the presence of the close Hero, without needing any extra weapon to do it (the card does not say anything about any extra attack is being done). However, such interpretation don't match with the card art, so an official clarification from Hasbro about this would be appreciated.
- Opportunistic Striker: It is unclear if being "next to another Hero" also includes being diagonally adjacent to the attacked monster, or just adjacent to it. - An official clarification from Hasbro about this would be appreciated.- Ambidextrous: The text looks incomplete because it assumes the Rogue will always own a Bandolier to have an extra Dagger available, however could be situations when the Rogue has not any Bandolier, nor an extra Dagger to perform the second attack. - HispaZargon, based in Guardian Knight's Skill cards wording, suggests that the card text should have better said at the beginning something like "(Requires Bandolier or 1 extra Dagger)".I have updated
the first post and
the second post of this thread with the last findings, the ones which include the summary of errata detected until now. Yes I was forced to separate the summary in two posts because of forum posting length limitations. Last global update was performed on 6th of November of 2023.
