Original character names

I didn't know that the four player characters at one point had names.

Apparently according to the original promotional materials the four adventurers had names.
Toran the Barbarian
Gorlin the Dwarf
Eldoral the Elf
Gelrrick the Wizard

I'm betting the vast majority of you already knew this.
But it's brand new information to me.

Do any of you use the names when playing the game?

I didn't know that. What promotional materials had that? I haven't seen any that didn't come in the US box.

Sadly no we do not but it would be cool. We always end up using names from Dragon Lance, Hobbit, LOTR, Harry Potter, or other fantasy names, and my nephew always likes to use ether Darrel and Darrel (hi I'm Darrel and this is my other brother Darrel) or Ahhhhhhhhhh (don't ask).

We always use original names too. Though I might start incorporating the original characters somehow.
