HeroQuest Flyer/Advertisements

I'm a sucker for looking at old advertisements and flyers from video games, computers, and games. I thought since I had scanned these for my own use that I'd share them just in case others get a kick out of checking this stuff out as well.

I am astounded at how inexpensive these sets were sold for! (and I assume shipping and handling was included?)

Even accounting for inflation, a $15 set would cost about $25 in today's money.

Yeah makes me rather sad that I didn't buy it when I had the chance. I just recently bought a complete Return of the Witch Lord for $52. That I felt was a good price, all things considered. But $10.50! Back then I had a paper route that I got around $150 every two weeks (that I split with a friend so I got help on the route). That was some good money for a 12 year old. And the only things that I still have that are tangible from when I had my paper route are my SNES, alarm clock, and HeroQuest w/ Kellar's Keep.

Oh well... so is life.

Time machine ... I'd buy all the HQ stuff I could get and as many as I could get. And I'd be selling them for way less than people are today.
Friggin extortion prices for this stuff.

beating posters of pornstars, cars, fantasy and science fiction stuff, Breaking Bad and Walking Dead merchandise,
Marvel superheroes and pictures of my family about the space on my wall.

How many of you guys also had Battle Masters?
I only played it a few times, but I thought it was really cool when I was younger. I still have some of the dice somewhere, but the rest of the game disappeared long ago.
