I am open for suggestions... i am not entirely satisfied in fact. :) They are meaningful but don't really have style.

Here's my idea for a "whole room" icon:
Image

I should probably put something else on top of the checkerboard, instead of a silhouette, so as to indicate the "targeting" part of the range. "Self", as slev said, can be that last icon from the Misc. panel.

The checkerboard is too detailed to use it in a font, I think.

I need one more symbol:
"Heavy" as in "heavy equipment" which will not be accessible to everybody.

I just started to be kleptocreative on Sotiris' System.

A rhomboid weight shape would work nicely for "heavy", I'm sure. It was used to great effect in the old CMG, "Ronin".

Couldn't any number be made from 1 - 5 hash marks?

Erm, you are probably right. Stacking multiple is only going to conserve a small amount of space, so 1-5 would probably work okay.

A few more icons I did today:

We're getting there icon-wise. I just have to figure out what settings I need to change to make Photoshop treat Arial-HQR and HQModern the same (i.e. read the icons properly). I think it likes it better when I use icon slots that already exist, but there's not that many letter glyphs with tildes and accents I can overwrite. For example, I tried replacing the original glyph for the letter "D" with one of my icons and Photoshop liked that just fine.

The big question now is, what font to base it on?

The realistic options:

Caxton
ITCClearface
Plantin
Arial
Something esle

My call is currently for ITCClearface, as I've been convinced by how good it looks on Mohawk's cards.

Anderas wrote:I have gone through my list and found nearly everything. Now there are only some things left to do.

Equipment materials (optional & quite low importance): Wood, Metal, Fabric, Leather: I guess I can live without them.

Equipment nature: Scroll, Potion, Weapon, Armour, Equipment: I think only potion and "equipment" are missing. "Equipment" is for everything that doesn't fit in the other categories, like the toolbox.

houserules - Additional movement (run), Wait to be last, Go First: guess I can live without in fact.

Nearly done! Cool!

I wanted to copy and paste, instead I edited the original post. On a smartphone you definitely don't have the overview.

the flask could be potion or quipment.

Likley a more traditional potion icon allows the flask to be equipment.

Additional Movement can be two overlaid boots. Wait can be an hourglass.
