Well please remind Zarquon that the point of the game is FUN, and Zarquon's role is to ensure that his family has fun - not to beat the heros and kill the hell out of em.

Ya, heros should die, but only occasionally. Otherwise ol' Zarquy might find out the game ain't so fun anymore for the heros...

And he could sure get his dark RPG -on at the local game shop or even if we can make a group here to meet online!

honestly, for me, be it HQ or D&D or whatever, I've always found a good deal of enjoyment giving out lots of loot and magical items,
and then just up the difficulty a bit, so that it appears that my heroes are super-duper monster-killing machines - they seem to get
great enjoyment out of being able kill everything in sight, even dragons - though the battle may be hard.

we've come close a number of times and scraped thru...

one of my friends when we play he gets scared he might die so he ignores the most important rule in the game....LINE OF SIGHT!!!

ah, that's part of the fun - getting out there, seeing what your character can do - without dying. gotta
have that rush and thrill of the possibility of death - just not the same without it.
