OK next up ..... Grey Ooze. (D&D Monster)

This is the first ever sculpt. I must have been about 12 years old and I remember I made it with something called Das? Daz? air drying clay.

These were madee the other day with some off-cuts from a Reaper BONES base did not use:

Painted up some flamey bits and bobs.

Two of the bits are flaming walls which will make a nice alternative to a rubble blocked passage.

Nice job with the flames! I like the custom puddings. I want a gelatinous cube with a partial skeleton and sword in suspension. The Heros should encounter it like a trap. Walk right into it if they are not searching.

link

There is a bit of dark contrast missing to make the flames appear bright. I like to use very dark browns like GW Rhinox Hide for that.

If you like, take a look.

Apart from that, nicely done!

Great log. Looked through the whole thing. Love the two Gretchin fighting on the double base. Classic.
However couldn't see a flame anywhere. :D

Sorry. I thought I was sending you directly to the right post. I didn't want to post my pictures here in your thread. Ok, but now just some very small versions with a link here.

I think on this one you see it best

nice plane =D
Isn't the contrast achieved by placing the model on a dark dungeonboard?

You're probably right. Then it is just the photo.

@Whitebeard
I did get a gelationus cube with the reaper bones ... I will get a picture of it.
Have always fancied making my own ... never done much with resin. I'll give it a go one day.

@Anderas
Lovely painting. OK I can see where you are going. Hopefully the basing will make them look a bit brighter ... I'll see how they look once based.

I'm getting a bit hungry ... anyone fancy some eggs:

All you need is a slice of ham and Sam will be quite happy.
