A little help please....

  • Are there any other official playable characters I can fill this table up with?

    2 Dwarf
    3 Barbarian
    4 Elf
    5 Wizard
    6 Trollslayer (Kili Thekkrsson)
    7 Knight (Pierre Chancier)
    8 Scout (Sneeks)
    9 Crossbowman (Sarymor)
    10 Halberdier (Garmin)
    11
    12

I would prefer not to have the original 4 Heroes on this list so may be using some of the many custom characters from the Inn.
  • Where in a Settlement would you go to hire Men-At-Arms? (I don't want to make them available from the tavern/alehouse if I can avoid it)

Paladin, thief, cleric, druid, assassin, dark elf, 4 female heroes?

Men at arms at the guardhouses, gates, barracks, castle if the city or town has one.

Thanks Sjeng. I hit a mental block at barracks, but I have other plans for that location already.

A quick update on where I'm at with this. The system for exploring the town is nearly done, I have adapted it from one of the magazines in Sjengs WHQ download. The town encounters are also nearly done, again mostly they are converted from WHQ. I have done no work on chapter 1, so if you have read this already don't bother reading it again, nothing has changed ;)

As always, all suggestions are welcome.

Looks good so far. Didn't really read it, just browsed, but certainly looks promising :)

"The Screaming Spectre" Quest by Dave Morris "Guantlet" featured a Barbarian to rescue named Munzuk the Hun. He charged 50 gold coins to help on the Quest after he took Body Point damage.

From the Marvel Winter Special comic:
Galadrus the Elf
Zull the Barbarian
Strom the courageous Dwarf
Akron, Mentor's pupil in magic and Ohio municipality

Just came to mind--the Brazilian community published some Heroes in games magazines. In Dragão Dourado, the Rescue the Princess Quest (found at the top of the Homepage Quests link under the Marvel Special) contains no less than the daughter of the Emporer, Gwendoline. She is described as a gifted swordswoman with the following stats: Movement 10 | Attack 4 | Defend 4 | Body 7 | Mind 9

Dragão Brasil featured four new Heroes, but you'll need to view them with google eyes or pm Washi if you're interested:
