Wall of Ice and Stones works fine for me.
On regarding to the Wall of Flames I will specify something that each figure adjacent to the flames needs to roll a die at he beginning of their turn AND everytime they come closer/adjacent. It is removed when the sorcerer die.

it's not an open window, but a dangerous window! OK, it doesn't prevent the Heroes to go on and attack the Sorcerer but they can not be destroyed like the other walls and is constantly burning adiacent figures.
Try a situation ike this, where X is the sorcerer and the red burst are the wall of flames: The Heroes trying to attack the sorecer risk to be burn on each turn because of the heat on their back.another hero that wish to join them may pass on the free square but is adjacent to the flames and may suffer 1 BP of damage too.
