Treasure Horde

The card mentions that the target of the spell draws three treasure cards and must take them whatever they are. Does that include wandering monsters and hazards? If unlucky the hero could summon a room full of chaos warriors or get insta-killed by three arrow trap hazards. Does anyone ever cast this spell? Seems like a lot of danger for little reward.

I've seen this kill the Wizard before.

Even funnier, was when the Wizard and the (injured) Barbarian where in the same rule, and the Wizard drew "Magical Trap" twice, plus "nothing", then used his movement to exit the room to safety, leaving the barbarian behind to get scorched.

Maybe that is why the spell is called Treasure Horde, instead of Treasure Hoard? Because of the possibility of a horde of blood-thirsty monsters or exploding fireball traps?

I've done it too. Unfortunately there was just two of us that played WoM so I was all the heroes. Still funny though.

That spell has an over-large varience and needs adjusting for better ballence.

It doesn't need nurfing though, it's already a big risk and the detection spell set is the weakest of the seven as it is.

It's best to cast it on the team tank who then searches for treasure in the first room of the quest.

You can't cast it on someone else, has to be the caster. It's best to wait till the end of the quest and cast it in the last room if you're healthy enough.

Future sight has to be on the caster as well, it's a big reason why the detection spells are so weak.
