That would be from the 90's version of "Gofgag's Mercenary Ogres".

I'm using plastic Ogre Bulls in my replacement set, with the Iron Guts parts for the Champion & Chieftain.

As I'm using an over-sized board, the Ogre Lord is an Ogre Tyrant, but for a normal board you can do more with the Iron Guts to make a third distinctive model.

I have. Look at reapermini.com and use their search bar. It actually works pretty well in their webstore.
Reaper is always a good starting point when looking for minis as their range is humungous and they vary in style (because fo their work-for-hire sculptors).

Thanks!

Thanks!!

Thanks!!

Now I do also have mini's from Citadel, GamesWorkshop, Grenadier, Spoontiques, Reaper and some I have no idea who made. I think that the old school pre slota and pre steroids looking mini's are the best.

the_nine_riders wrote:Even though this is a thread concerning "Against the Ogre Horde", do you have any recommendations for proxy minis for the Barbarian Quest Pack and/or the Elf Quest pack?

Check out drathe's thread on HeroQuest Compatible Miniatures. Lots of good proxy suggestions there.

The cheapest (while still workable) proxy I've ever seen are the Tim-Mee cavemen sold in dollar stores, the scale is pretty good (especially since Warhammer ogres' sizes are all over the place) even if the detail isn't:
