Trap door in Quest 8 and space sharing

It says that if you move through the trap door your turn ends. What if somebody else is already on the trap door? Player or monster, do you let them share a square or do you move them to an adjacent square like with a falling block trap?

I moved them to an adjacent square when I just played this quest with my group. It didn't seem to be a big deal the way it worked out for my group, but if there was combat, it might matter.

Yeah, I noticed that too a while back, I would just go with the adjacent square method.

I'd be okay with leaving the Hero off the board while he waits for the tunnel exit to clear. It's cramped, dark, and dangerous down there (lose a BP if a skull is rolled), so it should be slow-going in an abstracted way.
