Kellar's Keep overhaul for HQ - HEROES & VILLAINS

Here's my overhaul with new enemies for my own system (see Dropbox-link in my signature).
Caellar's Caer is based on the themes, quests, and features of Kellar's Keep,
but the adversaries are now Brood (Skaven), Grimdwarfs, and Ogres.

Hey KK;

I know a lot of things i would change in Kellar's Keep as well as in the Witch Lord expansion, especially in the quests that are often marked as "repetetive" or "boring".... see lucasDP's regularly reports that were breaking off after a certain witch lord quest.

The Monster type is not one of them. Well yes, i would add one or two in each expansion to enhance the gaming experience, but not replace.

What motivation did you have to change the monster type?

Firstly, quite simply, the other big part of this hobby:
collecting and painting miniatures.

That doesn't keep you from re-replacing monsters if you wanna play CC.
Skaven = Goblins, a little more of them
Mongrels = Orcs
Grimguards = Chaos Warriors
and so on.

Secondly, I just wanna write my own world based around the miniatures I have (and want),
and aside from the fact that my Orcs are so much bulkier than HQ Orcs, they also look distinctly Open-Sky-Nomadic
and don't fit the mountain theme.
The Skaven, on the other hand, lend themselves to the storyline, as well as the jealous fraggled-up brothers of the Dwarfs.

That alcove in the rolling boulder corridor made me snigger a bit. I can see the first Hero who could make it there (probably a Barbarian-type) gaining refuge while the Wizard-type who has yet to move vainly pleads to leave it for him.

Yeah, there's going to be race during th second turn when the alcove is in line of sight and players need to decide on their turn order.
Potential source of fun. I try to do that sometimes. No point in overhauling the original quests otherwise.
