Hi and welcome, me! |_P
The Dutch are many on this forum, by the way.

Have fun on the forum and on the board and post gamereps, houserules, pictures of painted stuff (doesn't have to be HQ).

Welcome to the Inn!
I have no doubts HQ was easier to sell than AHQ!

Friendly warning... Many rules questions won't have a definitive answer! :D

Introducing... me!

Post by Zeus » July 13th, 2016, 9:56 am

Hey all,

I started posting on this forum today, so I thought I'd give a quick intro! I played the game for some time after it came out (in the Netherlands), including all expansions available here. I probably followed the opposite direction of many people - I learned about Advanced Heroquest through White Dwarf (which up to then I only used for painting tutorials and examples), and it included solo rules (I had no gaming group at the time), so I bought it, and played it a lot - it got me set on board gaming (beyond the basics) in general, and fantasy board gaming in particular. Only later did I learn from that same magazine of the existence of Heroquest, which was a much easier sell to my friends at the time.

Now I am introducing HQ into my gaming group again after many years of non-play (of HQ that is), so over the coming weeks/months/(hopefully) years I will be having lots of rules questions as well as asking for input on the many ideas for HQ floating around in my head.

Regards, Zeus / Patrick
